Born on August 10, 1991, in Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Quoc Kha’s musical journey began in the vibrant atmosphere of Vietnam's southern hub. Driven by a passion for the drums, he relocated to Hanoi in 2016 to pursue professional studies in Contemporary Drums at the Hanoi College of Art. Since then, Hanoi has become his creative home and the foundation for his flourishing career.
During his early years in the capital, Quoc Kha actively participated in numerous performances and taught at various prominent music centers. These experiences allowed him to refine his technical prowess and develop a unique pedagogical approach, blending stage energy with academic precision.
A pivotal moment in his career came in 2018 when he transitioned into the international education sector. His professionalism and expertise led him to prestigious appointments at some of the top-tier international schools in Vietnam, such as:
- British International School (BIS) Hanoi
- The International School @ ParkCity Hanoi (ISPH)
- Brighton College Vietnam
In 2022, with a vision to make music education more accessible through technology, he founded Tanka Music. As the CEO and lead instructor, he successfully launched online music programs, breaking geographical barriers to inspire and train aspiring drummers across the country and beyond.
Combining the discipline of a professional artist with the heart of an educator, Nguyen Quoc Kha continues to dedicate himself to spreading the power of rhythm.
